Free fresh produce is available to seniors experiencing food insecurity. Seniors in need can call the Traverse City Senior Center at 231-922-4911 for distribution details. Those of you who have seniors who live on the property or whom you could deliver food to, and who have the capability to store and prepare their own food, we can arrange for boxes to be delivered to your property. This service is expected to be available through September and has been made available through a grant approved by the Aging and Adult Services Agency (AASA) of Michigan. Our thanks to the Area Agency on Aging for making this available to our region.
